Genevieve Morris

Genevieve Morris is a seasoned professional in health information technology, currently serving as the Vice President of Interoperability and Regulatory Strategy at Optum since April 2023. Prior experience includes the role of Senior Director of Interoperability Strategy at Change Healthcare from September 2020 to April 2023, and a consulting position at Integral Health Strategies from September 2018 to September 2020. Genevieve also held the position of Chief Health Information Officer at the Veterans Administration in July 2018, and served as Principal Deputy National Coordinator at the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) from May 2017 to July 2018. Earlier experience includes senior leadership roles at Audacious Inquiry, LLC, and management positions at the eHealth Initiative and Keystone Mercy Health Plan. Genevieve holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from Temple University and a Bachelor of Science degree in History from Northland International University.
