George Jones

George Jones is a UX/UI product design leader who currently serves as a Senior UX Designer and Research Lead at Optum, where they spearhead the development of the Optum Clinical Manager app and have established a user research practice that has resulted in significant cost savings. As the Owner and Lead UX/UI Designer at Sparkfly since 2007, George provides creative vision and strategy for a diverse range of clients, focusing on digital products and branding. Their previous roles include Director of Web and Product at Cincinnati State, where they directed digital strategy and managed a team, and Senior UI Producer/Designer at USAA, where they collaborated on consumer lending design projects. George holds an AAS in Multimedia and Web Design from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.
