Heather Knudsen

Heather Knudsen is an accomplished professional currently serving as Associate Director of Operational Excellence at Optum, where they are responsible for building scalable operating models and driving continuous improvement within health systems. Previously, they held positions including Product Manager and Associate Director of Enterprise Issue Management at Optum, contributing to operational efficiencies and issue resolution processes. Heather has also worked as a Lead Disability Benefit Analyst at ING. They hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science from Winona State University and an MBA in Finance and Health Care Management from Capella University, where they are currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on Global Operations and Supply Chain Management.
