Igor Shmukler

Igor Shmukler is a Principal Software Engineer at Optum since March 2023, specializing in backend engineering for a new banking platform using a custom event sourcing framework in NodeJS, focusing on treasury, transactions, KYC, and other validations. Previously, Igor served as a Council Member at GLG from February 2019 to July 2021 and as a Software Product Professional at Diophant Technologies from May 2011 to July 2019, assisting start-up founders and investors in software product development and evaluation. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Marketing and Business Development at RAIDIX, VP of Engineering at DataCradle LLC, and CEO of Elusiva, where Igor led the company to significant growth with over 10,000 customers. Igor also held the position of Director of Engineering at OS Research, LLC from October 2002 to April 2006. Educational background includes advanced degrees in Theology from Columbia University and Central Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitz, and a BA from Telshe Yeshiva Chicago, alongside studies at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
