Jan Schultz

Jan Schultz is an experienced communications and engagement leader currently serving as Director of Communications, Engagement, and Business Services at Optum since March 2022. In this role, Jan leads a team focused on enhancing the employee experience through multi-channel internal communications and readiness strategies. Prior to Optum, Jan held several positions at UnitedHealthcare from 2004 to 2022, including Associate Director of Training and Senior Principal Designer, driving digital content innovations and facilitating leader engagement through editorial calendars. Jan's career began at HALL KINION & ASSOCIATES INC, providing design consulting services for training and communications to Fortune 500 companies. Jan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Based Education from the University of Houston and an Associate of Arts in Business from San Jacinto College.
