Jason V. is a dedicated physician leader with extensive experience in clinical medicine and healthcare quality. They served as Assistant Professor at both National Jewish Health and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center before leading critical care medicine at Inova Health System, where they managed a substantial multidisciplinary program and achieved significant operational improvements. Following their directorship, Jason held dual roles as Medical Director of Quality and Medical Director for the Medicine Service Line at Meritus Health, focusing on clinical process improvement. Currently, they are the Senior Medical Director at Optum while also contributing as a Medical Intensivist at University of Maryland Laurel Medical Center. Jason holds an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University and an MD from Northwestern University.
