Jim Mitchell

Jim Mitchell, FACHE, is currently the Head of Operations for the Analytics Center of Excellence at Optum, where they focus on improving clinical and business decision support systems in healthcare. With over 15 years of experience in various leadership roles, Jim previously served as Chief Operating Officer at the BloodCenter of Wisconsin, where they managed a $200 million revenue operation and directed the successful merger strategies. Additionally, Jim advises entrepreneurs in business planning and sales growth at the Nashville Entrepreneur Center. They hold an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and both a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
