Joy Schuman

Joy Schuman, MBA, has extensive experience in procurement and project management, having served in various roles across multiple organizations. Beginning as a Buyer and Merchandise Manager at American Identity from 2001 to 2003, Joy transitioned to Hickory Farms, where responsibilities included Brand Marketing Manager and later Director of Product Management from 2014 to 2016. Subsequently, Joy worked as a Project Manager at COIN Educational Products from 2004 to 2006, followed by a tenure at ProMedica as Contract Manager and Buyer from December 2016 to November 2023. Currently, Joy is a Senior Sourcing Procurement Consultant at Optum, starting in November 2023. Educational qualifications include an MBA with a focus on Leadership from The University of Toledo, a Multi Media Certificate from Bowling Green State University, and a BA in Communications, graduated Cum Laude from Bowling Green State University.
