Kent Schrad

Kent Schrad is the Vice President of Actuarial Services at Optum Care Healthcare Economics, specializing in value-based care analytics. In this current role, Kent leads a team of actuaries and data scientists to deliver insights that enhance decision-making across healthcare providers. Kent has a strong background in medical expense reserving, forecasting, and trend analytics, and has effectively communicated financial performance to executive leadership throughout their career. Prior to this, Kent held various leadership roles at Optum and worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting. Kent earned a B.S. in Actuarial Science and Mathematics from the University of Iowa.
