Lawrence Wells is an experienced IT and information security professional with over 30 years in diverse roles across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Information Security at Optum, they oversee multiple teams focused on cybersecurity initiatives. Lawrence began their career as a Senior Sonar Technician in the US Navy and has held significant positions at Optum, Rapid Refill Print Solutions, and other organizations, demonstrating expertise in strategic systems design and cybersecurity. They earned a Master of Science in Security Technologies from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from Colorado Technical University.
