Leah Martone

Leah Martone is an Actuarial and Underwriting Systems Consultant at Optum, where they utilize their organized and detail-oriented approach to tackle complex tasks. Leah graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a minor in Actuarial Science and has prior experience as a Data Analyst Intern at NFP, where they analyzed insurance claims and developed presentations for clients. They have also held positions as an Underwriting Assistant and a Teacher, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and communication. Currently, Leah is studying for the SOA preliminary exams to further their actuarial certification while actively seeking full-time opportunities in the business and insurance fields.
