Leiah Verdone is an accomplished UX researcher and design operations manager with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Principal UX Researcher at Optum since October 2025, Verdone has previously held the position of Research & Design Operations Manager at emcee from January 2025 to October 2025. Prior roles include Senior UX & Human Factors Researcher at Bold Insight, where Verdone worked from November 2019 to December 2024, and various roles at Higi, a Modivcare service, from November 2015 to September 2019. Early career experience includes positions at Apple as a Technical Specialist from September 2010 to November 2015. Verdone holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Biological and Biomedical Sciences and Applied Science from Aurora University, earned between 2012 and 2014.
