Marcel Milat

Marcel Milat has extensive experience in risk management and actuarial services within the healthcare industry, having served in key leadership roles at Optum from December 2012 to December 2019 as VP of OAS Risk Management and Growth, and VP of Payer Solutions. In these positions, Marcel managed actuarial and underwriting services and was responsible for software and consulting services related to payer risk management. Prior to Optum, Marcel worked as a Product Director at Ingenix, overseeing the StepWise Rating product, and as a Consultant at Sierra Systems, leading development teams in IT consulting. Marcel began the career as an Actuary at Premera Blue Cross. Marcel holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mathematics from The University of British Columbia, earned between January 1987 and January 1995.
