Matt McGlothlin

Matt McGlothlin is the Primary Care Medical Director at Optum New Mexico, a position held since 2025. They previously served as a Family Physician and Assistant Professor at Duke University Health System, as well as in various roles at WellMed Medical Management, including Medical Director for the El Paso and Florida markets. Matt's medical career began with a general family practice at Scottsdale Healthcare and Primary Health Medical Group. They earned a Doctor of Medicine degree, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Medicine, and also hold a B.S. in Zoology, graduating summa cum laude from Louisiana State University.
