Melissa Worcester

Melissa Worcester currently serves as the Executive Director of Behavioral Health at Optum, a position held since August 2020. Prior to this role, Melissa worked at Beacon Health Options for over a decade, where responsibilities included serving as AVP of Client Partnerships and RI State Program Director. Earlier experience includes a Social Caseworker position at the State of Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families from 2004 to 2008, and a Youth Diversion Program Supervisor role at Tides Family Services from 2000 to 2004. Melissa holds a Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree from Rhode Island College, earned between 1998 and 2004.
