Michael Chien is the Senior Director of Industry Relations at OptumRx, having previously held the role of Associate Director of Client Services Account Management at Optum from 2020 to 2025. Before joining Optum, Michael worked as a Pharmacist at CVS Health in 2019 and held various positions in pharmacy, including Pharmacy Technician and Pharmacy Intern. Michael began their career as a Mineralized Tissue Histology Research Lab Technician/Assistant at IU School of Dentistry from 2013 to 2015. Michael earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis and a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from Purdue University.
