Michael McClelland

Michael McClelland is a seasoned technology leader with over 25 years of expertise in product management, software development, and AI strategy. Currently serving as the Director of Technical Product Management at Optum, they previously held significant roles at Totalmobile, where they led the development of SaaS solutions and integrated AI and data analytics into product roadmaps. As an AI Strategic Policy Advisor at Digital Catapult NI, they established Northern Ireland’s first AI Collaboration Centre, fostering partnerships across industry, academia, and government. Michael's experience also includes leadership positions at Seagate Technology, where they drove global product management and Agile transformation efforts. They hold a Master of Business Administration with Distinction from Ulster University and multiple computing-related qualifications.
