Mike Anderson

Mike Anderson is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in Medicare programs. Currently serving as President of Government Programs at Optum since August 2021, Mike has also held significant roles at UnitedHealthcare, including Chief Executive Officer of Medicare Part D and Chief Pharmacy Officer for UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement, overseeing the services of nearly ten million beneficiaries and managing over $35 billion in drug expenditures. Prior experience includes serving as Product Director for Seniors Programs at Express Scripts from July 1997 to December 2001. Mike holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Minnesota, where education was completed from 1992 to 1996.
