Mina Dang, MHS, currently serves as a Data Scientist at Optum, continuing from Change Healthcare following the merger of UHG and CHNG. Prior experience includes a role as Data Scientist at Change Healthcare, contributing to the advancement of healthcare data usage. At Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Mina worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, managing large datasets and collaborating on systematic reviews related to COVID-19 and maternal health. Additional roles span various leadership positions within student organizations at UC Davis including President of the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Chair of By-Laws for the Davis Financial Analyst Society. Mina holds a Master of Health Science from Johns Hopkins and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, as well as in Economics with a concentration in Data Analytics from UC Davis.
