Nathaniel Merrill

Nathaniel Merrill has extensive experience in systems management and technical support, currently serving as a Senior Systems Management Analyst at Optum since August 2009. Nathaniel has developed presentations and documentation on IT Service Management (ITSM), ITIL, and best practices, and has played a key role in operational management, overseeing network operations, incident response, and compliance with ITIL standards. Nathaniel has a strong background in managing teams and projects, utilizing various tools such as Splunk, Network Node Manager, and others, while focusing on operational readiness and support for critical infrastructure. Previous roles at Optum include leadership in technical support and project management, as well as experience at Cargill Inc. and Target Corp., where Nathaniel contributed to IT asset management and helpdesk support. Nathaniel holds a BAS in Organizational Administration and an AAS in Network Administration from educational institutions in Minnesota.
