Patrick Lam

Patrick Lam, FSA, CERA, MAAA, is the Director of Actuarial at Optum, where they lead the strategic vision and execution of a unified forecasting model for various healthcare areas. Previously, Patrick served as a Senior Actuarial Consultant at Optum, developing frameworks for Medicare Part D forecasting and enhancing client relationships. Their earlier roles include Manager, Actuarial, at Optum, and a variety of actuarial positions at Allianz Life, where they managed key projects and analyses. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, and Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
