Paul M.

Paul M. is a Medical Director at Optum, specializing in neurological and complex spine surgery with extensive experience in utilization review and clinical care determinations. Previously, Paul served as the Chair of the Evidence-Based Guidelines Committee at the North American Spine Society and held partnerships at Wyoming Medical Center and St. Luke's Hospital. Paul was also an Associate Professor of Surgery in Neurosurgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Currently, Paul is pursuing a Complex Spine Fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, along with an MD in Medicine from Columbia University and a BS in Chemistry from Yale University.
