Paul Root

Paul Root is a healthcare executive with 21 years of experience in product management, payment integrity, and payer-provider collaboration. Currently serving as SVP of Product at Optum, they lead a team of over 400 professionals accountable for developing and delivering healthcare administration software and services. Previously, Paul co-founded ToGoTechnologies, where they served as Chief Product Officer and drove product vision from concept to launch. With a strong belief in servant leadership, Paul is motivated by simplifying healthcare, developing leaders, and building teams that deliver real value at scale. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix.
