Prasad Thorat

Prasad Thorat is an accomplished Senior Director of Software Engineering at Optum since August 2020, with an extensive career at UnitedHealth Group beginning in November 2011, where roles included IT Manager and Director of Software Engineering. Prasad is recognized as the IT Owner for key electronic enrollment tools and applications related to agent onboarding and sales commissions, and has successfully developed annual IT roadmaps emphasizing innovation and technology modernization. Prior experience includes a Team Lead position at Accenture from January 2001 to September 2008.
