Renee Edwards is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering and IT leadership. Currently serving as VP of Software Engineering at Optum since April 2021, Renee previously held senior director roles at UnitedHealth Group focusing on consumer and provider experience. Prior experience includes positions such as Staff Vice President for Business Systems Analysis and Director of Data Warehousing at Anthem, Inc., as well as various IT roles at OptumInsight. Earlier career highlights include a Business System Analyst role at EDS and a Web Developer position with the US Army Corps of Engineers. Renee holds an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
