Richard Grady

Richard Grady is an experienced sales and management professional with a robust background in the health insurance sector. Since January 2014, Richard has served as Associate Director of Sales at Optum, overseeing the sales department for AARP Health and managing a diverse team of licensed agents. Richard also held leadership roles within the Academy department for both the UHC Medicare and Retirement division and AARP Health. Prior to Optum, Richard was with The Hartford from May 2005 to December 2013, where responsibilities included managing a Call Center and customer service operations. Additional experience includes managerial positions at Wholesale Beer Warehouse and Rick’s Sciota BBQ and Catering Company, as well as earlier roles in purchasing and sales at Susquehanna International Group and John Hancock. Richard holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Management from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania and an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Northampton Community College.
