Robert Emerson is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in database administration and operations management. Currently serving as the Director of IT Operations at Optum since August 2019, Robert previously held the position of IT Manager at UnitedHealth Group from 1999 to August 2019, where responsibilities included managing a team of Development Oracle DBAs, as well as overseeing capacity and performance testing and monitoring. Robert began the career as an intern with the UNIX Support Team at UnitedHealth Technologies in 1998.
