Ryan Cahill is currently the Deputy CISO at Optum, having previously served as the Director - Segment Info Security Officer and Sr. Director - Business Info Security Officer within the company. Prior to joining Optum, Ryan held various positions at Equian, including IT Director and Director/Deputy CISO - IT Compliance & Security from 2009 to 2020. Ryan also worked at the United States Air Force in the Network Operations & Security Center from 2003 to 2007. They are pursuing a Master of Business Administration at Colorado State University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from Colorado Christian University and an AS in Information Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
