Sam Jacobs

Sam Jacobs is a Senior Product Manager at Optum since December 2022, contributing to UHG’s Fusion team and working across various UHG businesses, including Optum Insights and Behavioral Health. Previous experience includes serving as an Associate Product Manager at Conformis, where responsibilities encompassed voice of customer activities, branding, and project leadership in the launch of knee and hip arthroplasty product lines. Prior to that, Sam held roles as an R&D Engineer II and I at Johnson & Johnson MedTech, successfully launching multiple products and leading surgical robotics initiatives. Additional internships in biomedical engineering at THERMEDICAL, Bard Davol, and Scion Medical Technologies further solidified expertise in product development and testing. Sam is currently pursuing an MBA at the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst, having earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
