Simona Sava

Simona Sava, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified psychiatrist with a strong focus on women's mental health and physician burnout. Currently serving as Chair of Adult Psychiatry at Optum and an Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, Simona also brings extensive experience from McLean Hospital, where they held various roles, including Assistant Medical Director for the Adult Inpatient Service. With a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Connecticut, Simona is passionate about promoting clinician wellness through education and consultation while advocating for data-driven process optimization. Simona's career reflects a commitment to patient-centered care across multiple psychiatric settings.
