Tom McHugh

Tom McHugh is currently an Associate Director at Optum, where they evaluate and negotiate contracts related to pharmaceutical market access, alongside conducting financial analytics and recommending management strategies for government programs. Previously, they held roles at STEMCELL Technologies as a Senior Scientific Inside Sales Representative and at Ulster Bank as an intern. Tom also served as a Supervisor at Wicklow Tennis Club and was a Research Assistant at the Health Research Board. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science and Pharmacology from the National University of Ireland, Galway, and are pursuing a Master's degree in Health Economics at the University of Galway.
