William E. Lievens

William E. Lievens, MD FAES is a neurologist, epileptologist, sleep medicine physician, clinical neurophysiologist, and addiction medicine physician. They completed their Doctor of Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2007 after earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology with honors from the University of Miami. Lievens trained as a neurology resident at UAB Hospital and completed fellowships in sleep medicine and clinical neurophysiology. They have held various roles, including neurologist at Baptist Medical Center South and neurohospitalist at Floyd Medical Center, and currently serve as Medical Director at New Season and a neurologist for Veterans Evaluation Services. Additionally, Lievens is involved in academia as a Clinical Assistant Professor at UAB.
