Eric Solan is a seasoned Engineering Director currently leading at Optum since 2020, bringing 20 years of comprehensive experience in software engineering and project management. Prior to this role, Eric served as Senior Engineering Manager at Informed.co, where they facilitated two AGILE teams and significantly improved project delivery times. Eric also founded the Best Mobile App Awards in 2012, creating a platform that showcases mobile applications. Earlier in their career, they honed their skills at The International Culinary Center as Supervisor of Applications Development, where they developed key applications still in use today. Eric holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Seton Hall University.
