Andrew Cary has a long work experience in the IT and hospitality industry. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Barista at Safeway, Moxie Java, and Starbucks. In 2009, they were promoted to Supervisor/Barista at Moxie Java. In 2013, Andrew Cary joined Gaming Laboratories International, LLC as a Test Engineer 1, where they tested gaming device software and hardware against jurisdictional regulations and created use cases for new technologies. From 2015 to 2020, they worked as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer II at Konami Gaming, Inc., where they performed bug testing and enhancement verification and created test plans/cases for new technologies and features based off requirements document. From 2018 to 2020, Andrew Cary also worked as a Barista at Starbucks. Currently, they are working as an Application Support & QA Engineer at OPTX, where they are responsible for managing software release process, creating list of items to be released, and releasing software modules using Microsoft Azure.
Andrew Cary has a Bachelor of Science in Software Development from Western Governors University, which they completed in 2021. Andrew also holds two Associate's Degrees from the College of Southern Nevada, one with no emphasis and one in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services, which they completed in 2014 and 2013 respectively. In addition, they have obtained three certifications: CIW Advanced HTML5 & CSS3 Specialist from Certification Partners (CIW) in December 2017, Project+ from CompTIA in May 2017, and A+ from CompTIA in March 2017.
