Ashwin Zade

Ashwin Zade has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ashwin is currently working at Optym as a Technical Product Manager - Rail since March 2022. Prior to this, Ashwin worked at Rio Tinto from October 2019 to March 2022, where they held a role in Rail Logistics & Optimisation. Before that, they worked at BHP as a Principal Operations Research Analyst from May 2014 to October 2019. Ashwin also has experience at IDBI Capital Markets & Securities Ltd. where they worked as a Senior Associate from May 2012 to April 2014. Ashwin began their career as a Summer Intern at Simulytics Services Ltd. in April 2011.

Ashwin Zade has a strong education history with a focus on technical and business studies. Ashwin began their education at Vidya Mandir Koradi, where they completed their Matriculation degree in Mathematics and Science from 1995 to 2003. Ashwin then enrolled at Shivaji Science College, Nagpur, and obtained a Higher Secondary School Certificate in Mathematics and Science from 2003 to 2005.

From 2005 to 2010, Ashwin attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where they pursued a B.Tech. + M.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering and Operations Research. Following that, they proceeded to the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, from 2010 to 2012, and obtained their MBA degree with a specialization in Finance and Operations.

Additionally, Ashwin sought further expertise by completing an online certification titled "Operations Research (1): Models and Applications" from Coursera in July 2022.
