Chandan Kumar

Chandan Kumar has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Chandan started their career as a Summer Student at Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi in 2010. Chandan then joined Unisys Global Services India as a Software Consultant in 2012, where they were responsible for maintaining legacy software for financial and banking solutions. In 2013, Chandan joined Samsung Electronics as a Software Engineer, where they developed various applications for Tizen devices and mentored junior developers and interns. Chandan then progressed to the role of Lead Engineer, focusing on multimedia applications for Samsung Z-series smartphones. In 2017, Chandan moved to Optym as a Senior Engineer, working on software development for the railroad industry. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Software Engineer at Optym, leading a team in developing planning and execution level software for trains to optimize network throughput.

Chandan Kumar completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electronics and Communication engineering from the National Institute of Technology Silchar, from 2008 to 2012. Before that, they attended Guru Gobind Singh Public School in Bokaro Steel City, where they completed their Class 12 in Science from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, Chandan obtained the Ericsson EXCEL telecom professional Certification from Ericsson in June 2011.
