Matthew Haley, CPA, is currently the Assistant Vice President of Fund Accounting at Opus Fund Services, where they leverage over five years of experience in the hedge funds sector. Previously, they held various roles at BDO Cayman, MUFG, and Castle Hall Alternatives, focusing on hedge fund audits, financial statement preparation, and middle office operations. Matthew served as a Teacher's Assistant at the Sobey School of Business and has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a focus on Accounting and Finance from the same institution. In addition to their professional expertise, Matthew is committed to mentoring aspiring CPAs and volunteering on the board of Hearing & Speech NS, helping to make a positive impact in the community.
