Mark Siemek

Mark Siemek, CPA, currently serves as the VP of Finance at Opus Genetics, focusing on Financial Planning and Analysis since August 2025. Previously, Mark held various leadership roles at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc., including Director of Corporate Accounting, where responsibilities encompassed financial reporting related to intercompany management and global consolidations, and Assistant Controller, overseeing month-end close and SEC reporting. Mark's extensive experience includes senior finance positions at NIOX®, Cree, and Inspire, emphasizing SEC reporting, financial operations, and budgeting. Educationally, Mark holds a B.B.A. in Accounting from James Madison University, earned between 1984 and 1988.
