Rachael Foxton

Regional Managing Director of Asia Pacific at Opus 2

Rachael Foxton is currently the Regional Managing Director of Asia Pacific at Opus 2. Rachael has over 25 years of experience in the legal industry, specializing in dispute resolution, arbitration, and business development.

Rachael started their legal career as a solicitor at Ince & Co in 1995. Rachael then transitioned into academia, serving as an Associate Professor at The College of Law of England and Wales from 1998 to 2007. During their time there, they also taught Dispute Resolution and Tort at Kaplan Law School London. In 2009, they left academia to join the Singapore International Arbitration Centre as Director of Business Development, a position they held for four years.

In 2013, Rachael joined Clifford Chance Asia as Practice Manager. After two years in this role, they moved to Twenty Essex in 2015, where they served as Director of Business Development, Asia until 2021. Rachael has been with Opus 2 since November 2021 and is based in Singapore.

Rachael Foxton has a postgraduate diploma in legal practice from The University of Law. Rachael also has an LLB (Hons) in English Law and European Law from Queen Mary University of London. Rachael is also an Erasmus Scholar from KU Leuven.

Their manager is Martin Coen, CEO. They are on a team with Robert Cannon - CTO, Sarah Mill - Director of Hearing Services, and Liza Pestillos-Ocat - SVP of US Operations.
