Geeth Hanarasinghe

Geeth Hanarasinghe has extensive work experience spanning several companies and roles. Geeth started their career in 1995 as an IT Demonstrator at the National Youth Services Council. In 1996, they joined KBSL Information Technologies Limited, where they progressed from Technician to Senior Project Coordinator over a span of ten years.

In 2006, Geeth joined Virtusa (Pvt) Ltd as an Associate Manager in Delivery, where they successfully managed multiple projects for multimillion-dollar accounts in the USA and UK. Geeth gained valuable management skills during their time at Virtusa, being promoted from a team lead to a Senior Consultant in Delivery Management before becoming an Associate Manager.

Geeth then joined Fortude in 2012 and held various positions, including Senior Project Manager, Associate Vice President - Software Development, and Associate Vice President-Global PMO. In these roles, they were responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions, transforming PMO operations, and providing strategic and coordinated approaches for projects, programs, and portfolios. Geeth also built strong client relationships, performed key account management activities, and managed SW project pipelines.

Currently, Geeth is working at OpusXenta as the Director of Project Management & Delivery.
