Bert Sansen

Bert Sansen is a seasoned professional with a focus on process excellence and improvement in manufacturing operations. Currently serving as the Process Excellence Lead at ORAC nv since November 2017, numerous projects have been led to enhance core operations while also assisting in deploying the OpEx & Continuous Improvement strategy and developing a scalable digital strategy. Previously, Bert held the roles of Process Engineer, where Lean Six Sigma methodologies were applied to process improvements, and Process Technician, focusing on standardized work procedures and tool testing. Prior experience includes a research internship at INEOS Styrolution Belgium NV, where a Bachelor's thesis addressed the reduction of rubber particles in wastewater. Bert holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering Chemistry from KU Leuven and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Odisee.
