Abid Hafeez

Abid Hafeez is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and management. From February 2018 to July 2022, Abid served as the Director of Software Development and Sr. Engineering Manager at Oracle, where contributions were focused on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Prior to Oracle, Abid held the position of Software Development Manager and Software Developer Engineer at Amazon from January 2011 to January 2018. Earlier career experience includes a role as an Application and System Developer at Verizon in 2010 and as a Web Developer at the University of Texas at Arlington from May 2007 to December 2009. Abid earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Arlington, where studies were completed from January 2006 to December 2009.
