Adrian Daniel Popescu is currently a Principal Member of Technical Staff at Oracle, focusing on distributed systems, data management, and cloud application development. Previously, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Swisscom and held various academic roles, including Teaching Assistant positions at the University of Toronto and POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest. Adrian completed a PhD in Computer Science at EPFL after earning a Master’s of Applied Science from the University of Toronto and a BSc in Computer Science from Universitatea „Politehnica” din București. Their experience also includes research internships at IBM Almaden Research Center and Fraunhofer FOKUS, as well as software engineering at Unravel.
