Anoop Gupta

Anoop Gupta is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience at Oracle since June 2005, currently serving as Senior Director of Server Performance. In this role, Anoop manages transaction processing performance for Oracle Database across various platforms, including Exadata engineered systems. Previously held positions at Oracle include Director of Development and Senior Software Development Manager. Anoop also led competitive benchmarking projects for Oracle WebLogic as a Principal Member of Technical Staff. In addition, Anoop represented Oracle at the Standard Performance Evaluation Corporation, contributing to virtualization and Java initiatives. Additionally, Anoop has experience as an Associate Lecturer at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and worked at D. E. Shaw & Co. Anoop holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University).
