Austin's career began with the United States Air Force, where responsibilities included managing multi-billion dollar budgets and leading analytics initiatives. Educational credentials include a Systems Engineering Management degree from the United States Air Force Academy and a Cost Analysis degree from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology.
