Brian Owenson

Brian Owenson is the Senior Director of Technology Strategy at Oracle's Utilities Global Business Unit, where they oversee technical architecture and product strategy while collaborating with development teams to leverage Oracle’s technology stack. Prior to this role, Brian served as Vice President of Product Strategy at SPL WorldGroup, managing product direction for Oracle Utilities’ Customer Care and Billing and Business Intelligence products. Brian began their career as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the National Science Foundation, conducting advanced studies on micelles and bilayer structures. Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Missouri University of Science and Technology and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
