Colton Prettyman

Colton Prettyman has extensive experience in software development, currently serving as a Software Development Manager at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) since February 2019, where leadership roles include overseeing a team focused on high-performance, scalable distributed systems. Previous positions at OCI include Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer, emphasizing the development of systems for provisioning bare metal servers and implementation of the Software Development Life Cycle. Prior to joining Oracle, Colton contributed to the firmware engineering team at HP, where responsibilities included firmware-driven mechanical system control for consumer printers. Colton's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Eastern Washington University and an Associate of Science from Spokane Falls Community College.
