Dan Houser

Dan Houser is a vCISO and the 2024 Chair of the Board for ISC2, where they have provided leadership and strategic direction in the cybersecurity field. With over two decades of experience, Dan has held significant roles, including Practice Lead at Trogdor Heavy Industries, and Enterprise Security Architect at L Brands. They have pioneered innovations in federated identity and cryptography, holding multiple patents for risk management technologies. Dan is also an active educator and mentor, founding initiatives like the Women in Security program and regularly teaching workshops that support scholarships for women in technology. Currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Dayton, Dan combines their professional expertise with a passion for teaching and community service.
