Dingbo Chen

Dingbo Chen is an optical engineer with ten years of experience in high-speed photonic system and component design, modeling, and testing. They earned a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of California, San Diego, where they also served as a Graduate Research Assistant. Throughout their career, Dingbo has held pivotal roles at various companies, including Principal Optical Engineer at Oracle and II-VI Incorporated, and Senior Optical Engineer at multiple firms. They have made significant contributions to photonic technology, including inventing a DSP-less 400 GbE solution and a silicon modulator for data center applications. Currently, Dingbo is furthering their expertise as an Optical Network Engineer at Amazon Web Services.
