Ed McKnight is a retired Principal Software Engineer who most recently worked at Oracle Corp in the San Francisco Bay Area. They have extensive experience in Solaris Cluster administration, technical leadership, and project planning, and have mentored junior engineers throughout their career. Prior to Oracle, Ed held positions at Sun Microsystems and Bookpeople, Inc, where they contributed to business application programming and system conversions. Ed earned a Master’s degree in Computer Science from California State University-Hayward and a Bachelor’s degree in Forest Management and English from the University of Washington.
